    Hey. I'm the creator of kz_reach and just finished my second map called kz_beyond. (Thanks for having kz_reach on HoC!)

    I've already chatted to pleKz about kz_beyond but I figured I'd make a thread here too.

    I hope you like it and feel free to give me feedback for either of my maps.

    Just tested it and I think it's great. No real criticism what so ever. Nice job bud, it'll be on the server soon.

    Good map. I like the thought that was put into your teleports and where they reset you.

    We'll definitely upload it to the servers.

    There is a new version of kz_beyond coming. Apologies to the people who already have good times on the current version but I'll promise no more updates after this new version is officially released. I also promise that the update will be worth re-running the map.

    Change list for those familiar with the map:

    • Removed known shortcuts that require perfect bunny hop (2nd island, between 3rd & 4th island, 4th island)
    • Given more head room in connecting tunnels so jumping onto the surfs/navigation in general is easier
    • Heavily tweaked inside area to be easier much more combo friendly
    • Tweaked many cases where crouching was required
    • Tonnes of tweaks throughout the whole map making it somewhat easier and much more combo friendly
    • Some new aesthetics, moved LJ area out of the way

    It depends. I got a bit of a mind block atm in terms of coming up with new jumps.

    Hey I was wondering if there were any problems with the update since I noticed the old version still persists on HoC.

    I can't wait to see people sink their teeth into it especially as I head towards making a new map. Cheers.

    I just took a quick look at the comments on it - More or less only positive stuff in there, so I'm expecting it to hit the servers after the test period is over. (Without knowing shit about it)

    Test period is about 2 weeks or so.
