Hey all, just droppin' a little update here. Since i'm not quite sure where i want to go Visual Design-wise with this map i'm thinking about adding the last finish touches for now and release it since it's Playable and might go for a Visual upgrade and do a Update Release.(?)
I'm pretty excited to play this for real, but do something about this generic lighting, its too boring and kills the mood imho. add an aztec tonemap to it and it should be cool. You can copy it out of the de_aztec.vmf or create your own. And since the server doesnt run the maps via the workshop its going to be hard to release an update, since the map cannot simply be replaced without everyone losing their score and/or having a conflict with the filename. I hope you understand what I mean. Cheers
This asks for a bit more attention to texturing . Try messing with scales so it doesn't look so repetetive and fit/align them to smaller objects like boxes or that castle-like wall in the last screenshot to make it all feel a bit better.
