Thought I'd add here that I've just started rock climbing! AKA real life KZ! It's pretty awesome and it's a really easy sport to enter into. If you have a bouldering gym near you you don't even need any sort of equipment or a partner, you can just go on your own and rent shoes if that's an option where you are. Alternatively the shoes cost around $100-200 so it's not a huge investment either way. Bouldering is climbing on short walls, at most 4-5 meters and the floors are padded so it's fine if you fall. Really challenging routes that are usually pretty short, I like it a lot. Sports climbing on taller walls does require a course to teach you how to do it safely, as the walls are 10-15 meters tall at least and you need a rope with a spotter on the ground. It's not hard to do it safely, but it does require specific training by experienced climbers and it can be quite intimidating when you're high up there and your life is in your partner's hands if you fall. Recommended for anyone who wants to become more active, and I'd imagine it'd be just up your alley if you already enjoy kz!
