    Hello everyone.
    So,there is a thing about +right and +left
Some low profile players i know from the past are making incredibly impossible records and beating the bests on small strafe maps.
There is a strafe code with +right and +left which allows you to just press "a +left" and "d +right" at the same time which i believe is not legit.
You just have to press a and d and it will automaticly strafe for you,you dont have to use mouse to strafe.
We should bring a plugin which kicks when you use +right and +left.

    Thanks...

In the KZ servers, anyone who uses +right or +left is slayed automatically and their timer is stopped.

Not using +left and +right is a good idea, most bhop servers have a setting such as the one Crash mentioned that stops your time or kicks you. I am all for this

There's a ton of bhop maps I can't do without +left or +right (every single long spinning fall comes to mind) due to low mouse sensitivity. Preferably the solution should be more elegant than simply disabling it. (I know I'm not the only one who uses these commands this way)

Klyve suggested checking if the user is moving forward using a+d and in_left/right and taking action against that.

I have also used it in the past due to my old low sens but have stopped since I no longer go for good times but I agree that some people could use it.

That sounds like a good idea @MMZ_Kask !

The one solution I could think of that still permits +left and strafe but prevents this is a timeout after using +left, so that it takes two seconds or so before you are allowed to do +right ?
Because in a spin you would generally go one way ?

So a counter of the number of switches between +left and +right and if this is > 8 or so do not allow it, then after say 10 sec the counter resets to 0

This is correct. Although some evil people MIIIIGHT have at one point made spins that borderline requires +left into +right and back again 6 times. This is over a 6 second period though, so it's still below your 2nd suggestion.

Removing it would be the best course of action. People can adapt without +right/+left.

Well to be honest im used to use +right and +left too.
But because there is the ones who abuses them we need to adapt playing without +right and +left.
