Hey everyone, Now that we've revamped the House of Climb website, it's time to turn our attention to the HoC YouTube account. We want to ensure that we're providing you with the highest quality content we can. To achieve this, we're bringing on 2 new community members, eNtity and KELLZ ><*> to manage the YouTube account! They will be responsible for uploading the best HoC videos with the sickest edits; creating contests and player-driven videos; recurring series; amazing cinematic videos; and much more. If you have any ideas for videos, or content you would like to provide, please contact eNtity (link to profile) directly on our forums. They will also be working directly with other community editors to create the most badass content possible. One such collab is BZR's edit of zza's WR kz_cellblock_go2 run, set on HoC servers: High-quality videos are already being featured on the YouTube channel, let us know what you think! Enjoy. //HoC
Bhop videos! "But Aux, there's no bots" Fix bots, then bhop videos! "You know you could just record demos live?" Effort! Fix bots, then bhop videos! You could also do map showcases of new maps in a 30seconds format, with some overhead shots, maybe with some people jumping within the frame, cinematic stuff, uno?
I am awake, sorry, I've been managing my time really badly since Overwatch came out. I'm gonna be focusing more on the YT again
Don't worry, I'm not much better. Between work, attempting to remain social, CSGO, Overwatch, and Stardew Valley, I've had no time for anything.
New xJ of CS:GO? For real though, the xJ community in 1.6 is freaking amazing. All kinds of tournaments, races, etc. all unique. On top of the youtube team you guys should start working with people to write monthly updates just as xJ does. Highlight wr's being made, what made them crazy records to hold at that time, and what section of the map was done better than the previous record holder. The xJ community is still semi-popular and with the KZ community in CSGO gaining popularity, something like this could definitely grow the player base. This could also help new players understand the longevity of the kz community and how far we have come. Crazy to think that around 10 years ago we were kzing on phoogi or xJ servers!
