Hey guys so I recently started playing on the #2 server that has prestrafe enabled and I've noticed that prestrafe is definitely different on csgo. On css I can do a constant 274+ pre whereas on csgo I'm barely getting around the 260s. So is there anyone here who's played both can tell me what I need to do differently on csgo?
Nothing, you're doing it right. The plugin on KZ modifies the physics, it isn't original in CSGO. Admittedly I've tried to implement a simular feeling on the bhop server but so far have failed, mainly to do with the no pre speeding config in the start zone, but I haven't forgotten.
Yea I figured, but what's the 276 (optimal css pre) equivelent on csgo? I know 280 ljs are possible on HoC #2 whereas the wr for css is like 275 stat, so I'm guessing good pre is somewhere near 280 on csgo?
Max pre for LJ is like 275.9 or something similar so it says 276 instead, iirc. But that is pretty hard to hit consistently.
Ah I figured it out anyways, I think in csgo the movement has to be a lot faster to get good pre. Did a 271 so I think I got it down mostly
Kz was invented in 1.6... that's where the pre-strafe was initially conceived. The mod tries to mimic that more than CS:S.
