I agree with you. In HoC servers the voice talk is banned.Everyone needs to type. I thought that was a great idea but since we got lots of admins going on we can open the voice talk. If there is unnessesary situation admins can handle it. Thanks,Ephi
Nope, hate it. We have Teamspeak. If you feel so inclined you can even make a private channel on there.
Voice chat was taken off due to continually arising incidents of people harassing others/being racist/spamming/excessive trolling/and other poor behaviour. Considering Teamspeak is more more easily moderated and publically accessible, I think it's a fair alternative for the time being. "since we got lots of admins going on we can open the voice talk." While there are admins on often, it can get tedious to have to come into the server to deal with voice chat issues all the time. Voice chat also brings up the issue of subjectivity and was causing other complaints.
At least allow it in the upcoming hard map server. The higher the rank, the more responsible they tend to be. if this is a way to get people to use the teamspeak, then it's not working
It wasn't intended to get people on teamspeak. It was intended to stop trolls like neteX from being dicks to other players. The admins on that server failed in dealing with the problem whilst the voice enable was on. I'll reevaluate the situation again in 6-12 months.

Although I usually don't agree with netex, he does make a valid point on this. Just because there are a few rude people / trolls on the server doesn't mean the entire server should be muted. So the admins couldn't do their jobs, that means the entire server gets punished? Come on, now. It's a shitty solution to a shitty problem. The only reason why the admins failed is because there was no permamute (as far as I know) and there aren't enough admins, honestly. Three or four should do it.
