Hi, this is regarding an issue for a lot of "experienced players". Often harder maps get RTVed (on the hard server) because the new players find them to hard, instead of joining the easy server as we often suggest them to do they often get mad or is like "IDGAF" and rocks it anyways and when the new map come they leave or rocks that one aswell.. This is annoying for us who are doing runs on longer maps I got an idea tho, since we have an easy server and a hard server, why not make it so that you have to complete a certain amount of maps or reach a certain amount of points to be able to enter the hard server. On CSS we had a system back in the days on FAILTIME where you had to complete 70% to be able to enter the medium server, then compelte 70% of the medium maps to enter the hard server.. I was thinking about a similar system, but better.. or I don't know.. I lost a lot of motivation to play because I feel forced to play easy maps.. :angel:
Despite spending most of my time on the EASY server I've seen this a lot too. There's not much you can really do about it, because like you said, even when tellin them there's an easy server they're determined to do as they please (and rtv for easier maps) irregardless. However, that said, I don't think it'd be too hard to fix, just add a HARD tag to the server similarly to how there's an EASY tag on server EU #3. If they're interested in easy and intermediate maps they're definitely going to join the server tagged as EASY over the server tagged as HARD.
This will probably be less of a problem also when we install the server hop. On a side note I'll add the tag if you want, feel free to also use the private server whenever. It has all the maps and the times are linked.
I would highly suggest that only top30 be able to join the HARD server while easy server be for everyone.. that would come once you fix rank system,immortal
Yeah I'd like to use private server for my upcoming tutorials since I will need time to create them and yeha a Hard tag might be a good solution
Would a VIP/HARD server in NA bhop be a future possibility? US bhop does have 32 player slots, and doesn't really need it for extra space or anything. But considering KZ has a pro/vip server, and EU has a HARD server, it would be awesome if US Bhop could get something like that as well. I know many players in NA server 3 that have also brought this up.
I would also love this. Generally when there aren't many people in the server harder maps generally get RTV'd really quickly before I can get a time I am content with.
