Enable sv_deadtalk 1

    Hi, I've been playing in your server and love it. One issue I have is with sv_deadtalk being 0, which prevents spectators from using their microphone. It's no fun to spectate someone so that you can give them advice while being unable to talk to them. I think it would be a good idea to set it to 1. =)

    I appreciate your suggestion. I would love to do this but the problem is this is for dead talk, so if you're dead you can talk to your team. Not if you're spectating and then want to talk to alive players. If you know the cvar for this I am more than willing to enable it. I have looked and have been unable to find it, I know on CSS you could just use sv_alltalk 1 and this would work, but this does not work on csgo.

    Edit : I took some more time trying to find the cvar and I have found sv_full_alltalk but its not working, the cvar says :

    "sv_full_alltalk" = "1" client replicated - Any player (including Spectator team) can speak to any other player

    I think it might be a bug.

    A quick search turned up a SourceMod cvar:

    sm_deadtalk - Controls how dead communicate. 0 - Off. 1 - Dead players ignore teams. 2 - Dead players talk to living teammates.

    I'm not able to test it by myself unfortunately, and I'm not certain you guys are running SourceMod, either (are you?). I'll continue looking into it if sm_deadtalk doesn't work.

    I just tested in my server and sv_full_alltalk 1 definitely works for spectator talk. =)
